SMOKING AND ALCOHOL BIG RISK FACTORS IN MOST CANCERS
The leading risk factors for men and women in cancer are smoking followed by alcohol use and high BMI. These are mostly tracheal, bronchus and lung cancer. Sigmund Freud and US Grant were heavy cigar smokers and both died from throat cancer. Charles Dickens and Anthony Trollope, also heavy cigar smokers died of heart related illness, also known to be a risk factor in smoking. These ne were also known drinkers.

Cancer occurs when cells lose direction. Cells require certain nutrition to function normally, but it is usually the toxic influence of the environment that must be addressed. Eating toxic foods containing lectins such as gluten from grains and casein protein from commercial dairy must be eliminated and alcohol, now known to be a grade one carcinogen should avoided and the smoking of any substance shunned.
